Women in the fifth parliamentary elections

The fifth parliamentary elections took place on 7 June 2009 and ended with four women candidates winning seats. They included: Nayla Tueni (daughter of Gebran Tueni), Setrida Geagea, Bahiya al-Hariri, and Gilberte Zwein.
